| I have a Helix 10 I want to mount on the dash of a 2011 Lund Explorer. Is that plastic that the dash is made of sturdy enough to support the weight of that graph?
Also, what is the best way to access the underside of the dash? Do you need to pull the gauge panel? |

Location: Waukee, IA | I don't know what the dash in your boat is made of but i just installed electronics in my new impact and the dash was made of aluminum sandwiched betwixt fiberglass and plastic. Plenty strong for sonars. I removed the switch panel on mine to access the dash interior |

Location: NE Ohio | ^^^^^^^^^^ ditto for me too. if you look up with a flashlight from the floor i could see the pieces of aluminum imbeded in the fiberglass. |

| I use fender washers on the bolts underneath the console to help spread the strain over a wider area:
