Posts: 295 Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | Seeing muskyhunter47 didn't answer any of your questions, I will. I own and use a Lakewood Extreme. Even though I have a custom Just Encase for my largest baits I still find the Lakewood Extreme to be the box I use the most when heading way up in the remote north. It's big enough to hold 14" Jakes and 12" Plows as well as Pounders and even 2 Pounders due to the fact they are a soft bait. I really like my Extreme, do they still make them? I haven't seen them advertised for a while...

Posts: 295 Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | There are 12 compartments and I just looked in mine and I have two 14" Jakes and a 13" Grandma in one compartment. That should give you a good idea

Posts: 841 Location: Southwest PA | Ok, would it be worth spending $40 in shipping? That throws me into a loop... Sheet! Screw it, I went for it. Figured I may as well buy a monster to make the shipping not worth it hehehe thank God for blackjack!

Posts: 295 Location: Sakatchewan,Canada | Depends how bad you want it... be thankful you don't live in Canada like me and have to pay in USD and crazy US to CAN shipping rates!!! For me it was crazy but the only way to get what I wanted... you will have to make the choice on how bad u want it and how much you are willing to pay for it

Posts: 841 Location: Southwest PA | Pike master, you have been a great help! Thank you very much. Us/can shipping rates are rough. I feel better about the $40. Plus, I ended up buying the extreme and a monster. I just won $600 on blackjack last night and the shipping didn't go up for the second box which I also really wanted. I guess i technically got them for free lol

Posts: 841 Location: Southwest PA | Pike Master - 4/26/2017 8:08 PM So you got a monster and an Extreme? Indeed. I am a tad eccentric on bait storage management. The extreme will be for BIG baits, the monster for everything else, love my pedestal pal for release tools and if I ever make a friend with a boat. No 20% off on tackle boxes but the mattlocks and headlocks were a great deal!
