Wheather it is glitter, holo or prizim tape what do you think is to much flash for locating muskys and as far as getting them to hit.

Can you have to much?

I've done well on chrome when it's a bit colder and prism works well in sunny weather and stained water.

I am not such a big fan of chrome and prism tape. I used to be but I like a solid silver better than the photo flash of the above. Probably more of a confidence thing on my part but that's what I like.

I think there's a time and a place for it and most importantly the angle of the sun. Also the pearl flash of Tenn Shad can be unparalleled at times. Here are a few of my fish magnets.

Raze, what kind of bait is the third one down (green back)????

Looks kind of the like a jumbo modified Amma Bamma ????

Sure seems like you like prizm tape, yikes, what is the story behind that?

I agree about the Ten Shad color, can be very good! My goto suspended bait is an old beat up Ten. Shad Ernie.

Jo, That's the only home made bait in the pic. I made that bait about 5 yrs ago and kinda used an old B-Flat as a guide. It's 10" long and weighs 8ozs. Its got so much flash it raises dead fish up from the bottom...lol

Most of the waters we fish here are shad based forage. When the schools are up high they can put on one heck of a light show especially when the sun drops down low.
