I'm wondering what the rear handle length is on the newer Okuma EVX-B split grip rods?? They look decently generous just curious. I'm guessing about 16"? Probably gonna snag a 9'3.

Looking here

http://www.okumafishingusa.com/product/view/rods/musky/evx-b-series...

All the models in the tab say 16" rear grip, but they all have a number "EVX-C-..." so maybe the website isn't up to date. I looked at a EVX 9'3" last summer - felt quite tip heavy to me. The 8'6" was pretty well balanced. I've read the balance was worse in the older generation, so maybe they've improved it even more.

All they need to do is make a 9'6" well balanced rod with 19" rear grip that telescopes to 7'2" and sells for $100. Then I'll be happy.

Good eyes. I'm thinking the ratings and handle configurations stayed the same so the stats are probably up to date.
