Delayed reserving my cabin(Hayward area)this year and now am SOL for that time frame. Have a family group of 8-10 people. I mostly Muskie fish but there are plenty of people in the group who need/want to panfish/pike/bass fish. Any recommendations for northern Wisconsin/Minnesota? Feel free to pm and thank you.

Lake Vermilion. I have not fished any other areas of Minnesota but have fished all over Wisconsin. Lake Vermilion has it all in my opinion except for things to do besides fishing and gambling. If everybody plans on spending most of the time on the water Vermilion would be a solid destination.

Ended up renting a cabin in Hayward area. Actually talked to an old friend(hadn't talked in a couple years-amazing how that happens sometimes) whom knew a guy...etc. Thanks for the comments guys.
