These look cool. From what I understand they will be available at the upcoming show.

Revolution... It's an oversized trout lure from 30 years ago.

Isn't every bucktail technically an oversized trout spinner from the past? Pretty sure the Cowgirl 'revolutionized' musky fishing. Who knows if this will do the same, but it looks pretty dang sweet!

Yes, absolutely. I was trying to lampoon the idea of a "new" bait. Long story short, Winternet spill over from a different thread. For what it's worth, I really want one.

How much harder do you think they'll pull than a similar size double bladed bucktail? The extra surface area has to come at a price.

from what I'm hearing it's comparable. What you gain is the auto start, and I'm looking forward to being able to bulge the crap out of it over shallow cover.

The smile blade has been killer for trout and great on walleye spinner rigs. Should be awesome for muskies. Far better around weeds as I see it.

Back in the 90's Hildebrandt Lure company made a bass size spinner like that with a rubber skirt. I used to catch pike on it until I lost it in some stumps. A couple of years ago I tried replicate to it & made a bucktail with double prop blades but they were smaller blades than the KB. Still haven't caught anything on it yet.

I would like to try one for the quick starting and non-blowing out factors, but I don't see these replacing my arsenal of double bladed bucktails.

One thing occurs to me: I don't think they'll fit nicely in the tackle box I use for buck tails. I'd have to put them in hooks first, and I think the tow eyes sticking up will keep the lid from closing.

I'd be curious to hear the underwater sound an see how it differs from actual double blades

One piece large dbl blade,,this looks like the best thing to deal with milfoil,,up spinning it will be like a police riot shield.
