Posts: 7 | Noticed these musky nets for a pretty good price, does anyone have one and are they any good? I'm in a 16 ft lund classic and don't have enough room for a big kahuna. would 36 inch be fine? The 40 seems pretty huge. Any reviews or suggestions out there? Here's where I'm looking but the description has a link to the Frabill site as well. https://www.appalachiantrading.co/collections/gear

Posts: 1000 | They're nice, but the netting is absolutely terrible. Very thin webbing. Split fins. Tangled hooks. Kind of a shallow bag. I almost had a fish die because it wrapped up so bad in this net. I'm really bitter about the net bag. Folds beautifully though. If you get one, get a thick bag. I ended up getting a Drifter Predator.

Posts: 7 | Thanks for the reply and good info. Do you think they might have updated the nets at all since you had them? Were they knotless rubberized mesh? They look like small holes but pretty deep bags on the frabill site. http://www.frabill.com/nets-accessories/powerstow-nets/36x38-power-... The site I'm looking at seems to have them for way less than frabill.

Posts: 88 Location: Wisconsin | I've got the largest one. 40x44. I really like the frame, handle, folding aspect of the net. Not a fan with the netting that came with it though. Hooks tangled way too much. Net was also a lot deeper than it needed to be. Ended up replacing it with a bag for a "Big Kahuna". Perfect net for my needs now. Tom

I have the 40 inch Equivalent in a Stow Master and I have had fish up to 54 in it and I would not want anything smaller. Like the Frabil, the Stow Master bag is junk. I put a Frabil 4666 on mine. I prefer to fish alone much of the time or I would have put on the Big Kahuna bag (4667) but I gave up a few inches of depth for a lighter weight. This is a 52.5 from last fall in the bag and a release shot to get a better idea of the size of the fish in the net... Posts: 7 | Nice! thanks for the pics too. So since I would prefer a folding net with my smaller boat it sounds like $160 is a decent price for the power stow, as long as I replace the net...hope i can find a Big K bag for a good price. If you guys think it's crazy to pay $160 let me know...just getting into this stuff.
