I was thinking about going to either Pineview or Joes Valley next September for a week of fishing next year. Only thing is it's over 20 hours away. I was wondering if anyone knew if fishing was decent this time of year to justify the long drive. Thanks

Should be good. If you go to Joe's, stop at Food Ranch in Orangeville and get the Oreo and butterfinger donuts. They're fantastic.

Thanks Mike. Do you know how long of a drive it is from Lake to lake by any chance?

3.5 hours, roughly. They aren't close. Pineview and Newton are much closer together. Newton was more of a numbers water, I'm guessing it is still like that but I've been gone several years now.

Much less power squadron traffic at Joe's Valley. Call Justin Hart or Calvin Black in the UDWR office out of Price, they can give you info on it. For Pineview info call Paul Thompson out of the Ogden office.
