I'm heading up to Canada to fish Pigeon Lake for only three days Aug. 15th 16th and 17th . I've never fished the lake before and three days isn't much time to get to know the lake well. I'm looking for any tips for fishing this lake or the surrounding Kawartha lakes . I'm up for trolling tips ,casting tips, color patterns ,lures info, whatever if you've been there and can give me any info please help me out . I'll be staying at Ennismore Inn & resort . Thanks in advance for any info or tips .

Fish the channel that leads into Big & Little Bald Lakes. Throw jerkbaits, and fish fast. I fish there regularly and have yet to be skunked. Lots of typical "Kawartha" muskie - 10 - 15 lbs, not big but fun. Enjoy your trip.

Troll perch color and strawberry pikie minows jointed along weedlines from 9 to 12 ft. and I am 99.9% sure you will contact fish. Al
