Headed to Mille Lacs this Sat. I have neevr fished from my own boat and I am taking a buddy who is moving to Europe in a few weeks. I'd like to put him on some fish, even Pike if we can!

Any suggestions of where to start?
What is the best place to launch out of as I'll be driving from MSP.

If the wind is from anywhere but the south go to Wealthwood and work the cabbage in the 8-10' range.

From the south try Vineland! My son got a 42.50 on Friday.
