Posts: 1 | Hey guys, new to the forums and muskie in general. Was out on Tonka today on a few northwest bays. Lots of guys out, didn't see anyone pull anything in only thing I brought in was a nice pike. Water temps were right at 50 degrees for me everywhere I went.

Posts: 162 Location: Metro, MN | Out on Saturday. Water was 52-53. Scored 3 muskies 39, 43.5, and a 46. The bigger ones came on suckers, the small one came on a fatbastard. Its never too late to throw a topwater!

| Got out on Sunday and managed to put a FAT 49.75" in the net. Lost a smaller fish on a sucker and had two others stalking the suckers. Edited by Cfollow 10/31/2016 6:32 PM | |||

Posts: 833 | Just wrapped up some extended fishing time. Traditional patterns seemed off or slow for the time of year, likely a result of the unseasonably warm weather. (Duh!) Adjusted my tactics a bit and hit on a new pattern (for me anyways) for this time of the year which resulted in my biggest fish at 52.5 as well as a 48. Managed a solid tally for my first extended fishing time on Tonka this season, 6 fish in as many days of fishing, including two doubles. Not bad given the challenging conditions the last three days.
