I use distilled white vinegar, diluted about 5:1 with water, and rub VERY gently with a fingertip if it's heavily spotted. Wipe dry gently with a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Posts: 1209 | I got a bottle of "doctor sonar cleaner" it was like 12$ but I love it and leave like a Teflon film that keeps it clean much longer.

Posts: 410 Location: With my son on the water | I second the Distilled water and Vinegar. I have a spray bottle mixed 50/50 and use it all over my rig (motor & boat) to remove the water spots. Cheap and works great.

Posts: 323 Location: Waukee, IA | I use Hot Sauce....which has a vinegar smell to it. I would think the 50/50 mix of vinegar water would be about the same and a LOT cheaper though!
