Hey guys, looking for a little help here.
I'm taking a long weekend....end of July beginning of August....with 2 friends at Yellow Lake.
I'm leaving Milwaukee at midnight and driving right to the lake. They're leaving Sunday, but I hate weekend afternoon/evening travel, so I'm not leaving til Monday.
I've never been up that way before, so where could I stop to fish on Monday on the way home? (Don't tell me Pewaukee) Or, are there other lakes in the area that I could hit on Monday morning before heading home? Looking to fish from dawn til 10:00 or so.
Thanks,
Beaver

Beav,
either Bone or Deer will be south on 35 from Yellow lake. Both are good and Deer is known as the lake of many follows, but both
are good. We fished Yellow for the first time in very poor conditions.
We had one musky blow up on a topraider in the weedbed south of where the river flows
into the lake. Otherwise we saw none, however we caught a bunch of very aggressive
northerns in weeds in the 4-6 foot range. Have a great trip.
