Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | This is a problem I have with a bass rod of mine that got smashed in a trunk. It's a split grip original carrot stix. Just the butt part of the split grip broke. Do you guys know of anybody who could fix this. Thanks! I don't have the rod with me and I'm not sure if I have photos but if I do I will post them.

Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I think I found the cork peice I need on mudhole.com. Do you guys have any idea how I could get the broken cork off without damaging the blank. Thanks

Carefully sand the glue/residue from blank.. apply new cork rings, and apply a little pressure onto them while glue is setting up. Then sand down to your desired diameter.
