Got back some old pictures. This was back on opening day at Hudson Lake in SW Michigan. Casted all day without raising a ski. This was the only fish put in the boat. Snagged through its poor belly on a burning retreive. Was a mighty long day. On a brighter subject I went 1 for 2 today trolling Lake St Clair. Had a screemer on, bumped the boat into neutral, set the hook and tried to start bringing her in. Wouldn't budge! Felt some awesome big shakes then she popped my 65 lb power pro. Took lure and leader to Davie Jones locker. Did manage to boat a fat 46 1/2 incher an hour later. No scale and no girth measurement. Had to be close to 30 lbs. It had two Lamphries on her. They died (crushed), she swam away strong.
