I saw and killed a metro mosquito yesterday. It got me thinking how summer temps will pan out??
Will it get too hot to fish the entire season in all but the high north?
Whats your prediction?

How can you tell if it was a metro mosquito? Breifcase? SUV? Holding a Starbucks latte?

I predict that you can't predict this summer based one errant March mosquito.

Mid-70's here yesterday. Mid-40's today. Take your best shot....

Considering we just plowed a foot of snow less than a week ago it's anyone's guess

Maybe it was wearing a Minnesota Wild shirt. They seem to be coming out all over the twin cities these days.

Just make sure it was a metro mosquito and not one of those zika mosquitos. You get bit by one of those and your head will shrink.

You know it would be ToddM who thought of that one. The article I read didn't say which "head" would shrink.

All the technology in the world...all the fancy degrees those meteorologists pay to get...all the smartest people in the world...can try and predict tomorrow's weather. But...in reality. They don't have a clue. An idea? Maybe. A clue? Most likely not.

Wake up tomorrow and look out the window to see what the weather is doing. Walk out side to see how cool/hot it is.

Moral of the Story? Mother Nature will do what she wants, when, where and how she wants.

Way too soon to worry about something that may never happen this Summer. Throw all historical data out the window until this year's data is recorded...

Knowing that it's April Fools this Friday....I'm seeing 3 to 5 inches of snow in the forecast for up north this weekend....and that so far...isn't any kind of April Fool's joke. No...the meteorologists and their fancy computer models are saying so...

We had early Ice-out. But then had many cold days in late March. Now here it is the 4th of April and we got 7" of snow with a low of 15 degrees. Water will still be below 40 degrees no dought. Who can possible predict these things this far in advance.

No kidding! I'm starving to get after the hunt again! This cold front this weekend and then Fall is just around the corner! I don't think I have been this excited for fall in a long time.
