| For those that run convectors, do you prefer the 20 or the 30? |

| I actually prefer the 20 size over the 30 for trolling. Plenty of line capacity for me. I have a 30 in great shape that I would trade for a 20 in similar shape. |

Location: MN | I chose 30s for line capacity. If you are considering running mono it could be an issue with the 20. The 20 will fit about 110 yd of 30 lb mono. If you let out 100-150 ft and use a planar board 100 ft out, that starts getting close. In most situations it would be OK, but I went 30s to be safe. |

Location: lansing, il | With 40# mono I use the 20s on my down rods where I am not putting out alot of line and 30s on board rods. Check out their Coldwater series as well, a step up from the Convectors. |

Location: oswego, il | I have connectors and coldwater, I love them. If your using braid the 20 is fine. Probably fine with mono if your not running long lines. I really like the power handles on both models. Two positions so you can get maximum leverage. I have 30's and 45's. If you troll lsc for example you can have a bigger spread. The fox chain for example, you won'the. They are great for salmon too. |

| I don't troll that often and if I do I'm not using boards or anything like that. I think I'm going to try the 20 and see how it works out |
