Location: Lafayette, IN | I've had my boat a while now and had only a nuisance oil leak. It's getting worse. So, I pulled the cowling and looked her over good to see what the source was. Expecting a loose/ broken hose or fitting I was shocked and PO'ed that some moron had removed the attenuator cover from the intakes and upon replacing it, apparently installed longer screws than before. Guess where they screwed in to... the oil tank! UGHHH! And to top it off, they knew it! " How does Steve know that?" you ask. Because one of the NEW cover screws had been removed and installed directly in a hole that pierced the tank through to stop a leak. New tank: $65. And Yes, I DID order the correct screws as well.....Thank you. She'll be ready for Vermilion though! (3 more weeks) |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I once went to a customer service call that a boat wouldn't unload from a K-Dee trailer, to find someone had installed a battery tray with three inch screws, screwing the boat firmly to the trailer bunks. |

Location: oswego, il | Steve, I would probably found a place for that screw that pierced the oil tank. Land me in jail but it would find a home! |
