I'm headed to Leech in two weeks and was hoping that the water temps would be a bit higher. Anybody moving any muskies out there?

We are catching a few trolling. Once the water stays above 70 degrees for a while, fish will show up on "spots", and casting should get better. The mayfly hatch is wrapping up, some fish should start keying on prey that relates more to structure. It looks like the water temps should climb some next week.

I've put in 35 hours on leech since last Saturday and have not seen a fish. 8 hours with a guide as well....casting and trolling. Anyone having any luck here?

That is real typical of Leech before it gets warm. My son spent 3 days and saw no fish last week. This is the time to target walleyes and largemouth. I'm on my way up Saturday for a week. Then two weeks up there until August 13. Right now I'd be looking for any cabbage growing in 4-8 feet near deeper water. On Leech I'm a big fan of cranks and pull baits and of course topwaters. I've learned never to be surprised where you see big fish on that lake.

They are there guys just have to change tactics and locations if you aren't moving them. We give these fish way to much credit sometimes, they have to eat.

Like Dan said the fish are there. Caught a couple and moved a few others this week. What I have noticed is very short windows of activity. Now if only the wind would die down enough so I could get the boat off the lift.
