Posts: 2361 | Sad to say, but Slamr must really be on the ropes cashwise these days. For him to sell his Hughes River baits is akin to most of us having to sell a kidney. Being financially limited myself I am unable to contribute, but felt I could do my part by posting this. Please send $1 each to the Slamr Relief Fund care of FSF, KY. I will see he gets everything left after my administration fee, Honeydo taxes, e mail postage(high in KY due to the mule powered generators we use in this area), boating license and cost of living adjustment. Come to think of it, better send $2. If someone could please purchase his baits in the B, S, T section, that would help too, for an extra $10 Slamr would probably add some impressive teeth marks. www.boat=holeinthewateryouthrowmoneyinto.com

Posts: 109 | I'd buy them, but my wallet disagrees with the idea. Something about dividing negative numbers?? Edited by EViL0nE 6/28/2003 7:53 PM

Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | Last time I spent $40 on that kind of firewood it turned into $65 for the Ashton fund, I wish I could afford the expense. ;) But I am willing to send in my $2 for the cause.

Posts: 2361 | Ah finally a sucker, oops, I mean compassionate fellow angler. Please send your donation right away. Also note that Sponge has wired me and feels that we should set up a compatible account for Slamr's retirement/disability fund. Sponge has volunteered to handle that, but please increase the donations to $5 each, he will of course have certain costs involved in the administration of THAT fund, something about a boat to store the documents in. I would of course donate myself but my boat payments, started in 2002 and due to end in 2032, have somewaht dented me. Bye the way, I have some baits for sale I would like to move now to try and buy some trolling baits, oh, and some rod holders.

| I set up a KISSING BOOTH at the office yesterday and raised $1,097.12...I painted me backside to resemble the Postmaster General, and the boss hung around for nigh 4 daggone hours! I finally got him to step back after I "burped", and he has promised to write me a check when I get back next Monday; me cheeks are somewhat chapped, but it was worth it!:O | |||
