| Guys,
Got a new Terrova on the boat last year. It makes an obnoxious creaking sound when it leans or turns certain directions or when the boat rocks. It not only bothers me, I'm afraid it will scare a follower if it happens at that time.
It seems to be where the depth collar meets the bottom of the shaft. Most likely just plastic rubbing on plastic.
I've tried WD40 and also just some reel oil I had in my box last weekend. That seemed to help for a short time, but didn't last.
Any suggestions? Teflon lube?
Thanks - Midge |

| I googled it and it seems to be common problem. Some guys are saying Armor All applied on the shaft solved their problems. Will be trying that!
