| Has anyone got any experience with aftermarket backup cameras and monitors. I went online to research them and didn't find out what I wanted as far as price and options. There were so many options and price differences I thought I ask on here to see what if anybody has some ideas. Thanks to all for any input. |

| If you are just looking for something that is temporary like for backing up to a trailer, check out the iBall. Wireless. Camera is on a magnet that sits on your tailgate, hitch, whatever and transmits the signal to the screen that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I want to say they run about $150. No installation needed.
But, use it only when you are going very slowly. If traveling on the road or highway, it will bounce off. I use mine when I back up, then I take it off right away. It is not meant to be left on the vehicle. |

| Man, I love mine (iBall). Really works great. I use it now for backing the boat into the garage. I put it on the engine and it shoots back so I can see when the prop is about to hit the wall. Easy stuff.
In case you didn't find it on the net.... http://www.iballhitchcam.com/
I got the upgraded one (in yellow). Works like a charm. |
