Location: Minneapolis, MN | Was thinking of going to lake independence tonight and the website for baker says they are open 5 am to 10 pm. Do they close a gate anywhere that would prevent someone from getting in and out of the park after 10 PM? |

| You can always get out. Pretty sure you can get in after 10pm but don't quite remember. Call them |

| Gate is automatic to get out. They do close it at 10, but just drive up to it and it opens. I'm unsure on getting in though. You may need to be within the hours for that. |

Location: Alex or Alek? | Ha had a buddy try to go at 430 this last weekend. Gate was closed, they ended up on Tonka. I'm not sure how close they got to it to see if it automatic opens. |

| The gate opens at 5:00 or close to 5:00. I was camped out last Friday and it opened at 5:08. You can exit any time you like but the park does close at 10:00, so there have been occasions where people get ticketed if they are there later than 10:00. I have never had an issue loading and getting ready to leave after 10:00, the 3 Rivers Rangers have always been cool about that but if you are not in the process after 10:00 you are a sitting duck if they do check (which is not every night by any means) |

| I use the 3 Rivers Park landing on Tonka. Same deal with the gates and when I talked to the park folks they had no issue with fishing past 10 and I have done so all the time out there with 0 issues. If you have somebody meet you there in another vehicle with no trailer I was told a note on the dash saying you are out fishing with X vehicle was preferred.
I would think Indy is the same as they are both 3 Rivers Parks using the same ramp pass. Although I believe the hours are different and Tonka opens at 6 so maybe the overnight deal is different? |
