| Hey all,
Got out Wed/Thu and did some throwing.
Here are the current (as of yesterday) conditions:
Temps: 76-78F, shallow thermocline, about 2'
Clairity, Clear with green stain, murkier than usual.
Weeds, Milfoil has been sprayed and is almost non-existent. Cabbage type weeds more prevalent than in years past.
General:
Got two but had to work for them, seems like all the follows from what I'd call the "Normal" depths were small and I didn't get anything of decent size until I moved out deeper. It appeared that the bigger ones were sitting out a cast or so deeper than is normal. Local guides are reporting tougher than normal conditions and having to work hard for fish.
Most of my activity was early or late in the evening, had three active fish strikes around dusk on Tuesday. Netgirl had a fish on, but couldn't get hooks into it and I had two blowup at boatside on the eight. So things are normal for the season there. The recreational boat traffic making it nicer to go out later... LOL
HTH,
RandalB
