Hi, I was just looking thru r&h. Checking out some new cranks for trolling.
I was wondering what makes these two differnt? I see that one is plastic and one is cedar. The plastic one has rattles. But how do these two differ in action from each other ? what one would make a better trolling lure?thx

Both are great trolling lures and a necessary part of your arsonal.

Belivers run 7-10 feet on the shalow eyes and can be trolled to 7+ MPH. On the deep setting they will run to 16+ feet at a speed of 5+ MPH. Now the shallow eye believers when trolled at high speed will have an eratic action that will swing left and right up and down.

Wileys run shallower then the shallow eyed believers and can run at 7 MPH no problem. They will however have a tighter more standard wiggle.

The Wileys have the most action by far! They catch a bunch of fish too. The Stalkers are more durable. Sometimes the fish want a bait with less action, but as for me....I prefer the bait that I have confidence in. I've never caught a fish on a Stalker. The Stalkers are left hangin' on my garage wall while the Wileys are in my boat most of the time.

I've never used a regular stalker, but I really like the superstalker. I haven't trolled it near as much as i've cast it but it should be a good trolling lure. I caught one and lost a couple casting it. Wiley's come in more colors & sizes than the stalkers.
