Bought one that was freshly re-worked and it's smooth, super smooth.
Just picked up another one that was "like new" and when you pull drag off of it you can feel the gears roll over, basically a clicking sound as drag runs off, or when you back the drag off and crank the reel you can feel clicking. Looking for a good place to take it to have it looked at or send it to have it worked over. Located near Minneapolis. I don't know enough about these to tear them apart and deal with it myself. Just doesn't seem quite right and I'd hate to lose that big fish because something failed when I needed it most.

The Stock Drag Washers need to be replaced
With a set of Carbontex kit under $15.00
And a good Reel Detailing $25.00
