I want to buy a few Weagles soon...
For you Weagle experts- which color(s) are MUST HAVE.

I usually like to buy 2 of everything to start- Dark Color / Bright Color

For Topwater, is Black really all you need?

Blue and sliver colored wtd baits are my favorite, my wife loves the old dancin raider in shimmering shad (white and blue) they worked the best in the lake i fish but i dont think color makes a huge deal

I asked the same question a year ago and bought a black one.
In only a few hours fishing it has led to a 38", 42" and a few missed ones - one f which was enormous and vicious but of corse came off.
By the black one and then whatever other one makes u happy.

Color is the least important factor IMO when choosing topwaters of any sort. My preference would be black on bottom and white on top (so I can see it)

I have an original Cady weagle black with a white head. Very chewed.

All I ever use is a 10" black weagle for WTD topwater. Work it slow and hard. Fish can't resist it. Great throwback lure. Great when you know there are fish in the area. Great when nothing else is working.

Yep, Nuclear bumblebee I think they call it.

The contrasting stripes I believe help the fish connect with the bait. I have VERY, VERY few fish swing and miss that bait

Just get the 8". It's a good solid size.

Its great hearing these comments about a topwater lure that I know I'll love to use....sometimes I use certain lures because I enjoy using them...usually on the second or third day when I've exhausted most of my go too's... but fishing in Ohio can be brutal. Tight Lines!
