| I think there were about 97 registered people for the event. I'm not sure how many fished past noon, due to the weather. I think that between all boats there were like 70 follows, and 5 registered fish. My partner, Rich Vono, got a 39 incher that won the event. I think that Steve Berg got a 36.5 that took second and I'm afraid I don't know the name of the third place finisher or the size of his fish. Raffle tables had a St. Croix Slingblade, Just Encase box full of baits and a 80# Terrova as grand prizes. Silent auction tables had a few guide auctions including a fly trip or casting trip donated by Brian Mirek and a team autographed football sent in by the Green Bay Packers. We had a great turnout at the dinner and people were very generous on the raffle tables. This is always the largest fundraiser for the local Muskies Inc. Chapter and proceeds generally go towards kids outings, veterans outings, speakers and local stocking efforts. Many thanks go out to every fisherman who participated! Here is a picture of Rich and his winning fish, along with a 31 inchish pike that he also got. Tough day. We stuck it out and found this fish, but dang, we got snowed/sleeted on 5 separate times.
