| DougJ and others refer to lures as tools. The best tools are the crescent wrench baits that are very versatile. If you could "have it all" in a single lure... what would that bait do?
Or... what are some of the best crescent wrench baits out there... and how could they be made better?

| My 'pliers' bait has always been a creature.
I have too many sons to hold on the a crescent wrench for long.[] |

| If the creature/jig is the cresent of musky lures or all lures for the matter, the crankbait is a good set of pliers. Funny thing is though, when I'm at work I'll try to use my cresent as a wrench, hammer and anything else I can use it for. When fishing I bring all my tools along and change tools for each task. I sometimes try to use many different tools for the same task. As much as I think I know about fishing and as little as I think I know about fixing things, I've never tried to use my cresent wrench as a screwdriver but I'm sure I have tried this when fishing. | Hmmm, you guys seem pretty tight lipped. I guess everyone is content with needing 50 specialized lures to do the job that 5 crescent wrench (versatile) baits could do....
