| Looking for a used Tuffy 1760 in a tiller or counsel. Please let me know if any of you know of any for sale that are off the site. Feel free to PM me or email me at [email protected]. Open to other Tuffys V boats as well but not looking to go too much over $20k
Currently have a 2001 Esox mag and I am looking to upgrade to something that can handle bigger water.

However after owning both a 1700 and a 1760 I suggest the 1760 hands down |

| Thank you Dan. I actually called and emailed about more info on that boat and have not heard back from the dealer. I would like to get the 1760 as I think it would be a drier ride with the higher sides. I will just have to be patient. |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I've run both the 1700 and the 1760. The biggest difference is that the specs on one versus the other do not tell the full story. Basically, the 1760 is ALOT MORE BOAT. A 1760 is only a little over a half a foot longer, but the increased width inflates the overall size. Hard to describe beyond saying the 1700 is a perfect boat if you're only going to fish 2 at a time and probably never going to be in any waves over 3' for more than the time it takes to get back to the launch/lodge/dock. The 1760 fishes 3 comfortably (and 4, but it's a little cramped), can handle bigger waves than 3' and has greatly enhanced fishability.
If you have questions, list here or PM me. Happy to answer any questions! |
