So i intend to use some grunt lures but fishing laws where I fish prevent me from having more than 2 hooks on a lure.
What hook should i remove (front, middle or rear) in order to get the least amounts of misses possible?

i vote middle. if they're hitting good its always the front hook that gets it. nippers/slashers find the rear hook. thats my .02 .

I think if you remove anything but the middle one, you'll seriously unbalance it greatly impact the action of the lure.

If your talking my big 16" and 17" Grunt lures I would remove the tail hook... These big baits get a lot of head and side hits.
