I snapped my steering cable on my maxxum and just picked up the parts and the repair guy acted like it was the hardest job in the world anyone have experience doing it? Is it that difficult? I asked if its a hard job to replace and he just said good luck and that was it. Im not to worried about it im sure ill figure it out but cant find any videos on it so ill jist have to follow the instructions in the bag. Will be attempting tomorrow we will see how it goes

I watched an experienced technician replace the anchor point in a buddy's maxxum. Took him a couple hours and looked pretty complex. Good luck!

The parts came with directions, think it was only like 7 steps I believe. I duct taped the old one to the new one because i did find online that weaving the new cable through the shrink tube was the hardest part and that helped make that part little easier
