My boats kicker motor is in rough shape and I want to put a new one on and was looking at changing the size to perhaps get better performance when trolling at higher speeds (3-5mph). I use this boat for walleyes and muskies so need 1-5 mph speed range.

Boat: Ranger 619
Kicker: 2003 Mercury 9.9hp Bigfoot
Current Prop: ??? Believe its a 10" Diameter, 11" Pitch, 4 blade

Was considering going to a 10" D x 13" P 4 blade aluminum that I found online for $82.82... Any advice or recommendation for correct prop?

Hiya!!

I would check out solas propellers for a replacement propeller. They should have a prop that will fit the motor and give good thrust being a big foot motor. The big ears should be a good thing, and going up in pitch as you are thinking would help as well for higher speed.
