I was wondering what people prefered. Baits with prisim tape or the holoform. Is the instances where you would choose one over the other? Or are the basically the same affect with just a differant look. Or do you stay away all together and use only plain painted baits??

Prism generally takes up a whole side and is basically a reflection of silver or gold in most cases. With holoform, it can be put on over different colors and you can say have a reflective holoform finish with chartruse for example giving you two different reflective colors. Both have their places.

I agree with ToddM, and would add that both are effective at creating some refelted light to the sides, the most important function, IMHO.
