There is a new virus circulating that is causing alot of problems. It is the Bugbear.b virus. It is a new version of the bugbear.a virus. This one is very high on the "wild" scale and can trash you system. If you have not updated your virus software since Wed, it may not catch it so update now! The e-mails are coming from anybody (not necessarily someone whom you dont know) and the e-mail topics sometimes seem relevant to you. I know of three systems at work that crashed today all due to an e-mai with an attachment from someone they knew (they thought it was from someone they knew). Be carefull of any e-mails you get from anyone for a while. And just because it looks like it is from someone you know, it may not be.

I got an e-mail on my work e-mail that was suppose to be from Hopkinsspoons or Hopkinstackle; something like that. My Panda Antivirus detected it and I immediately deleted it. Kinda sucks working for a tackle company and having to worry about getting e-mails like that.

I don't worry too much about viruses. I always wear a condom when I log in.;)

Not a bad little guy. Sounds pretty well thought out. Here's a URL to symantec's info on the virus.
