| I have three Gold Corsairs, two of them seem to be working fine, but the one I used all spring burning bucktails and spinnerbaits is junking out on me already, I opened it up and it has mostly plastic gears on the left side, and they where all chewed up, so I thought I would spend a little more money and get something a little better quality so it would last more than two months. so I looked at the Abu 6500 C4S and the Shimano calcuttas, but they both have plastic gears on the left side too, so even the higher quality reels have plastic gears, and I'm worried that the same thing will happen to them as to the corsairs, Isn't there any reels that have all metal gears? what can I get that won't junk out on me after a few months?
another thing I was wondering was, is it possible to take the reel to a repair shop and get metal gears put in?
