Wondering if anyone has been up to Clark's resort and if they have any preference of lakes? I don't think there's much in the way of Musky, but love to fish for big pike as well. My dad and uncles will do mostly walleyes. Our group size has us limited to McVicar, Kam, and Kapikik. Can't find much about these lakes anywhere, so thought I'd take a shot. Thanks.

Thanks I hear ya, catching 100 18-22 inch walleyes a day doesn't sound all that fun after catching the musky bug. But quiet time away with family is well worth it!

Depends, a 100 walleye on an ultra light can be more fun than the one average musky with a pool cue. Mix it up.

If this is the Clark's you're talking about, you don't need a flyin for muskies, just go to Clark's Northern Lights on Cedar if you want muskies, big muskies....average size there is stupid big! Also walleyes, smallies, perch, etc...but probably not a 100 fish/day for walleye's. I acn't fish for walleye's on Cedar or Cliff...

Trophy Walleye's, with Muskies that equal Cedar, Smallies and Lakers, go to Lost Bay Resort on Cliff Lake...right across the road, you can actually fish both lakes - Cedar =stained, Cliff = clear trout water. Althought how stained Cedar is depends on when you are there and which part of the lake you are fishing.

If you decide on either lake PM me here, I'll share some spots..Cliff has better walleye's, it rivals Dogtooth, and I love Dogtooth (fished it for 10+ years)!

Call the folks at Clark's- I think their flyin's cater mostly to walleye & northerns...I could be wrong...if they don't have what you want, they will tell you, maybe they have a muskie/walleye/northern pike lake. Of course a flyin always has way less pressure and the catching can be crazy....flyin's are special, the worst part of a flyin is watching that #*^@ed float plane coming to pick you up!

Have fun!
Al
