| I have never fished between wisconsins closer and opener before and am heading to missouri this weekend. My question is how do I fish them. Should I fish like I would in late season?? I was also planning on bringing suckers.
Thanks

| I've not fished in Missouri but I'll assume it will be a shad forage base on most of the reservoirs. Squirrly phantoms or other small gliders will be a good option, also crankbaits. I've not tried rattle baits in this pattern but they could be another option. Water will be cold so fish slow and probably work creek channels, main lake points and the dam area. If it's warm coves or creek inlets may work but my guess is that it will be too cold for that yet. |

Location: 15 miles east of Lake Kinkaid | There will be several different patterns you can fish and catch fish all winter. Casting, jigging, and trolling will all work. What lake in MO? |
