| I am looking for some insight from fellow Minnesota Musky guys. More specifically to bucktails and the twin city meyro area, but I suppose it goes for all lures and I'll be branching out to other areas as well.
What color combos and/or size of lures/bucktails do you tend to have the most confidence in around here? I saw on Musky Hunter last week and Saric said that blue and silver is a big color in this area and honestly, that wasn't a color bucktail I had ever considered.

| Over in the west metro I have done pretty well with silver blades/black skirts, and all white bucktails. Orange and black lures are also a staple of mine. Certain lakes have other colors but can't go wrong with the above colors. I have seen a lot of silver and blue being used and even have a couple lures in that pattern, but haven't had much luck with that combo personally on the lakes I fish. |

Location: Chisholm, MN | I've caught muskies on blue bucktails on most every lake I fish. Give it a try! Try some marabou while you're at it. |

Location: Minnetonka | Hey Andy. I use darker bucktails in the metro, but that's just personal preference. The further north I go, the more I use the blue and silver flavors. But again, there are exceptions to the rule. I like painted blades during low light levels and in stained water. Good luck. |

| One of our top producers is the Dreamcatcher in whitefish pattern... that has blue and white combo with in it. |
