Not musky related but heading up to Hayward this weekend to snowmobile. Looking for motels/hotels nearest the snowmobile trail.

I've been to Hayward in the summer but never winter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Looks like LCO casino would be a good central location but it's full.

I stayed there for a golf trip a few years ago. Is there room for trailer parking ?

Don't try these guys. I was there this past September and the room I stayed in had bed bugs.

South of town, but Birchwood Motel, in Birchwood Wisconsin is right on the trails, tons of parking, caters to snowmobile/atv guys, and is reasonable.

I know it's a little further north, but for many years we used to stay in Cable. We rented a house owned by Lakewoods right on Lake Namekagon. Lakewoods caters to snowmobilers and the lake has some great spots for food/whatever. Good trails in all direction...I also thought Treelands on the Flowage had some nice rooms.
We always felt that there was advantage to staying away from Hayward...just our opinion though.
Good luck up there.

You might want to look a little further north, Hayward does not have very much snow right now.
