| The boats are about the same size boats and both have 4 stroke motors how much more speed could I expect out of the 115 HP motor? |

| 3-4 mph. Weight is farther back on the tiller allowing it better speeds than a console 90 of the same boat itself |

Location: With my son on the water | I was told a good rule is 1 mph per every 5 hp or in your case 5 mph. |

Location: Madison, WI | That's about right. I had a 90 hp on a Tuffy 1700 and it ran 33-35 mph. My next boat was a Tuffy 1760 with a 115 and that ran 37-40mph. Those were both single console though. |
