Does anyone have any ideas for a Canadian fly in multispecies lake including Muskies? Have a friend who wants a fly in next summer, but I would want to try to fish for muskies. Thanks BG

Gateway North Outfitters has a fly in with muskies on Grant Lake I think. Nestor Falls Fly-In has the Kay lake outposts. Couple ways of flying in to Kishkutena. Rowan as mentioned would be one of the best options. I think there are a few more but those are the ones I have researched off the top of my head. Some day one of these trips would be very cool.

The majority of fly in Musky lakes are fun, but full of undersized Muskies often not exceeding 40". Really not too much better than several drive to options that are similar.

Rowan. Big muskies, lots of muskies. Also supposed to have good walleye, smallmouth and lake trout fishing as well as a couple portage lakes to check out.

I cannot say enough GOOD THINGS about Nielsen's Fly In Lodge on Rowan Lake. If you're looking for an "action packed" trip with a shot at a TRUE TROPHY----Rowan will definitely fit your bill. The fishing is great----whether you're after walleyes, bass, trout, pike, or GIANT muskies----Rowan has it all. The fly in , out of Nestor Falls, is very simple and straightforward. The accommodations---the food ---and the fishing are excellent--- NFIL is a GREAT choice for what you're looking for---and you NEVER know who'll be in camp when you're there. I was lucky enough to be in camp with Larry Dahlberg---one of my MUSKY IDOLS---- too cool for words!! Talk to Don at the shows this winter---he will HOOK YOU UP, for sure-----Pat

Nielsen's Fly-In on Rowan Lake.

Been there 6 times. It's my absolute favorite musky destination on the planet.
