| The trolling bite was on early but petered out after awhile.
There are nearly NO weeds this year due to the high muddy water all spring/summer. This makes the fishing tougher, fish are scattered. Last time I was there was mid September, water was mid 70's, a little warmer than usual. We've had a warm fall thus far, with a few cold snaps here and there. They have drawn the lake down to about 3 ft below summer pool and still dropping. Hopefully they'll be done by the time you get there.
I like gliders, and with no weeds they are easy to use. I'm sure your guide will be chucking rubber that time of year. Medussa'a and Dawgs.
Call 606-783-7001 for lake info.
Let me know how you do!!!! Info on the bite is very scarce now. PM me.
Good luck!! |

| Are you staying at Tony Grants? If so he will tell you what's hot and what's not, if your taking your own boat just be very careful the water was lowered and trees and stumps galore. 4 of us went with 2 boats and the fishing was tuff we had a total of about 10 follows and managed a 37 in. and a 50 in. Good luck |
