| Looking at taking a trip to Lac Seul in early to mid September next year. I have not been there this time of year and am looking for suggestions as to what structure to look for and lure suggestions and colors and what water temps are normally this time of year. I am thinking 10's, and big cranks.
Will probably stay at Anderson's Lodge. |

Location: Elroy, Wisconsin | You will have to go a long ways to the east end to find muskies, unless your in the outpost cabin above Chamberlain Narrows. Great place, stay in weeds and rocks equally. Suckers for
dogs.

| Thanks for the info Mudpuppy. We were there about 8 years ago in early July and did really well. My son ( 10 at the time ) and I fished walleyes in the morning then muskies after we caught lunch. We got 7 from 42" to 49" . Had several more up.
There seem to be plenty in that area; just not talked about much I guess. We got those on big spinner baits. I even managed to lose a pike about 48-50" . Weather was tough with rain all that week and temps mainly in mid to low 50's.
Any suggestions as to what color dogs and any other lures based on your experience that time of year?? I would think black / orange tail in the stained water. |
