I'd be happy to have such a splendid fish in my private lake. I have time and I am patient and as you will need it I go to the United States to bring the eggs alone. But so far attempts over the internet because it will be cheaper but not easily and can someone help me. In Poland we have a beautiful pike, zander, catfish. I spoke with MMFarm and even they did not say how much roe Musky

Posts: 390 | Im pretty sure if you try to get full strain musky you will have problem. However, my uncle used to put a couple hybrid muskies (tigers) in his pond which he bought from an aquarium dealer. Might want to look into hybrids instead, mind you they were fingerlings (10 cm)when he receives them.

Posts: 3150 | I know the minnesota dnr once traded walleye fry to Missouri for Turkey's,,, Maybe they or some other state with muskie might be interested in trading with the polish fisheries equivalent for zander ,big project lots of loopholes but who knows.

Posts: 11 | As for hybrids is not really interest me. I wrote to the Minnesota DNR and waiting for a response and see what will respond. In my country there is a problem because they are afraid that it will cross the pike and musky pike will eat our lives The stanch the north pike and musky in one lake and is well. But I'm curious if I would like to live in the United States and drove himself to the farm musky, I think there is no problem to buy eggs from the farm musky without permission. In my country you go to the farm and you can buy fish, eggs, products. I talked to a guy who brings trout roe to Polish. He told me that he would see what I can do. bbeaupre as the price for hybrids?

Posts: 20 | Check out the forum on pondboss.com they are all private pond and lake owners and I've seen muskys discussed several times. There are several international people on there as well who may be able to steer you in the right direction. Those folks know their fish stocking and if it's possible I'm sure someone there will know how to get it done! Wish my puddle was big enough to put a musky in! Just out of curiosity how big is the lake you are planning on stocking?

Posts: 11 | In Poland you can catch two types of catfish. One is the American catfish which is small and is a pest of our water very quickly multiplies and eats the eggs of other fish and Dryga odmina the European catfish who grows up to 3m and weigh up to 150kg. This species I catch it because he is strong and brave great fun with catfish and even a good day you can catch them 5 pieces. Very tasty fish but we take only those 1m and weight 10 kg, these big respect to what was a fight Thank you for the information on the page musky and see that you told me. The lake that I have is 40 hectares and deep 6-10m

Posts: 11 | If someone was able to get a real eggs musky and send to Polish it can not be declared at the border because the customs officers stop me unless I have permission to dispatch the eggs into Polish. You can do so that you declare trout roe and roe are sending a musky but must be rubber stamp veterinarian which is not easy but not to do. Thank you guys for your help and conversation

Posts: 246 Location: Grand Marais, MN | I think the idea of sending muskies to Poland would make the Minnesota DNR laugh. There's just no way they would do it. You should come out here and join some of us Polish-American muskie guys for some muskie fishing. and feel free to invite us out to your 'private lake' powodzenia!

Posts: 11 | You know it's not a problem to go to you and musky fishing.
The problem is only then when you go each year to states and spend a lot of money for the journey, sleeping and boat In Poland there are a lot of people who can not afford to travel to the United States to catch musky and this is their dream, and I want to fulfill them because it great fish. I know that it can be done only who take care of the eggs and I will send To send Polsi rainbow trout roe and roe can be swapped for musky because who recognizes what a roe I will bring to my private lake. We have the same climate, the pH of the water is the same as in lakes with fish musky. Pike in Poland grow huge 25kg and 130-150 cm and musky genetics is very similar to pike.
Does anyone on this forum have not grown musky or does not know the person who can help me? Posts: 11 | Welcome friend You can ask your uncle about these hybrids if it be possible to send Polish eggs and how much it would cost. Maybe the man that runs the aquarium shop will be able to send spawning fish that is allowed on the Polish market. Enter it spawns of trout or other fish and send roe Tiger Musky I would ask you for your question on my behalf.

Posts: 11 | Hello I got a message from DNR, what do you think about this? Hello, You would not be able to purchase muskie eggs from the state of Minnesota because you are from out of state. However, there are 2 aquaculture farms that do sell Muskie eggs in the private sector.
