Does anyone have this boat? Or has anyone fished out of one?

I have a 2005 165 navigator. Love the boat fishes a lot bigger. Lots of room for storage and fishing. I have a 75 Yamaha and I top out at 33. I have a 70lb powerdrive and it lasts all day no problem. I fish small and big lakes with it

I had a Navigator and it was a good solid boat. My only criticism would be that the lay-out wasn't great, but I'm sure they improved over time.

I recently bought a Navigtor 185cs with a yammy 150. So far it looks very promising, just need to add rod storage and an extended rear deck and I'll be all set.

I have the 175 navigator. Love the boat. Imo best value for what you pay for what you get. Only down side is they really bounce in choppy waves.

I had a 165 Navigator tiller and they fish very nice....in calm water. Once the wind picks up though they do tend to blow around a lot and any significant chop will beat you up running across the lake. I actually liked the layout but since I went to glass I never realized how much you get beat up in a tin boat that size running in any waves

I have 2011 175cs with a 115 yamaha, does anywhere from 38 to 42mph depending on your load. Like it alot. Fish 3 guys out of it all the time. I think the layout is great, plenty of room for all your gear Nice wide stable boat for the money. I fish big water in it and it does just fine. It does blow around in the wind a little, but it just fine tunes your boat control. Have a 80# terrova on it and handles the boat just fine.

I had a 2000 Navigator 165 Tiller with 50 4 stroke Merc. The boat worked very well for me. I actually thought it ran rougher water pretty well. Had the wind really kick up on LOTW one day last year when we were out in the open and got back to the dock fine, but wasn't able to get it up on plane (pounded too much). Not sure any boat would have been fun in those waves though.

I thought the layout and storage was great for the boat's size. When at rest (casting), it did bob up and down a lot in a big chop. My glass Tuffy was so much better in that respect. But, if you are normally on small to medium size water (up to 6,000 acres or more depending on lake type), I think it will do just fine for you on most days.

Mine ran about 31 or 32 with me and a full musky load. In cool conditions with very little gear I'd hit 33.

Do you mean bounce when driving or when fishing?

I have a 2008 Nav 165 CS with a 90hp E-Tec. Incredibly wide, very stable, decent amount of storage. Are you looking for specific info, or just likes etc. from ppl who own Navigators?

I have a 2008 175CS with a 115 ETEC. My buddy has a 2006 185CS with a 115 Yamaha. We were both at the fall outing with them, handle waves good for a tin boat. We both built back deck extensions. My 175 will push 50 mph on a good day. Love the wide open layout and level decks for walking a fish around the boat. Rod lockers will hold 8 footers on drivers side tubes on left limit length. Ive been in VERY bad weather in it (small craft advisory) just be careful. In my opinion the best aluminum boat layout for musky (opinions vary but that's mine). Bill

Thank You

The navigator decks are very nice size, pretty sure the competitors are pretty much the same. When i fish 3 out of my navigator 175 we have 2 on the front deck and 1 on the back. I love the way this boat is layed out for muskie fishing as well as for any other species.

That is really good to hear ! I may not get the chance to see these boats for a while yet and by all the pictures and video's I have seen it just left me not knowing. Some make it look big enough for two and some make it look real small SO this is very good to hear !!
Thank You
Jim
