| We are excited to share with you that Ben Heussner will be the guest speaker at our Nov 11 (THIS Wed) Muskellunge Club of Wisconsin meeting. Ben is our Wisconsin DNR Fisheries Biologist in SE Wisconsin and will share info about the state of muskie fisheries around the state and especially in SE Wisconsin. He will focus some of his presentation to results of a 3-year study they've been conducting on Okauchee Lake.
This is EXTREMELY short notice, but we hope your calendar is clear so you can attend our meeting Wed night. Please be sure to share this info with your friends
Our meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of selected months (Jan, Feb, Apr, May, Oct, Nov) and are held at the Thunder Bay Grille in Pewaukee beginning at 7:30. Preceding our meeting is a social hour beginning at 6:30. Guests are always welcome and can attend free of charge. Hope to see you there!
Be sure to email us (or post here) if you have any questions.

| We had a fun meeting last night with outstanding attendance including several visitors. Ben Heussner (WI DNR) did a fantastic job and shared some very interesting info regarding the pellet-fed-minnow-finished vs minnow-only study he's been conducting on Okauchee over the past 3 years. Not sure if our impressive turnout is attributed to posting our notice here on MuskieFirst, but thanks to anyone who reads our posts and considers attending our meetings. We normally don't meet as a club in December, but we're planning a club swap meet for Dec 9 at the Thunder Bay Grille that will be open to the public. A more formal announcement/invitation will be posted here soon. |
