Just curious to see how many guys run 250xs on 621's and what you experience has been with them. ie performance, speed, which prop to use.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

On a new 621? they have changed the hull several times over the years...I have 2010 250xs on a 2004 621 and it's a rocket I can run 62-64 MPH on GPS with a light load.. but never do. Once you get the boat you'll just run 40-45 mph anyway unless you are fishing serious tournaments.

Location: Lake Elmo, MN
That 250 ProXS develops nearly 275 hp at the propshaft. 250 is the nominal HP rating.
That is PLENTY to get you where you are going in a quick fashion. No two ways about it.

I have been told by Merc the nominal HP is about 35HP below actual propshaft HP.
