With the pending cold front hitting northern Minnesota in a couple of days do you guys expect the Muskie action to die off? The daytime highs and the morning lows are going to be about 20 degrees cooler by Friday morning.

I for one really dislike a warmup once things start cooling off in the fall. So I'm hoping its for the better

That drop in September usually brings some of the biggest fish in the lake up in shallow, where you have easy access to them. It's one of the few times, outside of their spawn and the cisco spawn, when the location of those fatties is "somewhat" predictable. As always, no guarantees. Like Propster, it's the warming trends this time of year that I don't like.

The cooling temps did push the fish shallow. We were contacting fish in about a foot of water. The fish were active but we were not able to boat any. Still worth the trip. Thanks for the info
