| yesterday, I caught a 51 that I caught roughly 3 weeks ago. This is the first time that I know I have caught the same fish. I know it happens but how often and how long between catches has your experiences been?
Anyone catch the same fish multiple times? |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | Same day, 4 hours apart. Same exact spot despite the wind pushing me ~100 yards off the spot during the first release
Another tiger on a different lake I know of was caught at least 5 times in a matter of 3 years. Twice in my boat. I would post pics but I do not have permission from the other anglers so I won't.
Tigers are dumb!

Location: Metro, MN | Fish, especially on heavily pressured lakes are being caught multiple times a year. Ive seen pics of a fish that was caught 3 times in one week. I also recently saw a guy catch the same 50" in the morning and later in the evening 100 yards away from where he first caught it. Kind of sad to think about. I know longer get that feeling that there could be a record lurking around unless I'm fishing a very large body of water ex. Mille Lacs/LOW/Great Lakes, but you never know due to cpr i guess...

| Caught the same little 30" fish 2 weeks apart, about 150 yards from where it was originally caught. First time was on glider, second was on bucktail. Big scar on gill plate gave it away. This was in June. Talked to a buddy just this past weekend, he too has caught the same fish, but his were in Aug and Sept, and the fish was caught in the same general area. He got it on topwater and crankbait. That's an active little guy that doesn't discriminate on lure type!!! |

Location: Chisholm, MN | I caught a 46 in June one year. 3 years later I caught her at 48 in mid November. Also, I caught a 48 on another lake and had her in my boat again a few years later at 49. (slow growth rate lake)
I've also caught the same walleye a year apart. 27.5 to 28.5. |

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL & Phillips, WI | I caught the same fish 3 times in 2 years all within 100 feet of the original catch and my 2 sons caught the same Tiger 3 years apart once up a feeder creek and then out on the main lake. That one grew about 8 inches in that time.

Location: Contrarian Island | we caught the same 45.75 twice... about 6 hrs apart one day... it ate a sucker both times.. it was hungry!  quite a few other guys have caught that same fish as well... as others have said, handle them with care and you can catch them a lot |

When I was guiding Pelican in WI full time I had a male muskie that hung around a dock on the North Shore all the time. If I was having a really bad day, I'd put the clients on that fish and it would usually hit a spinnerbait. It was caught a few times a year I knew of. |

Location: SE Wisconsin | I've only recognized one instance where I caught the same fish twice. This fish was 45" in August of 2014. I caught her again in late July of 2015 inside of 100-yards from where I caught her the year before. If these examples are proof in the pudding that muskies have home ranges, I don't know what else would... Great examples.

Location: varies | Do they count in the yearly total if caught more than once and/or can you add the inches together for 1 super fish?

| Being from Europe, not muskie, but i caught the same 36 inch pike 2 times with 1 hour in between, about 100 yards from the first spot. on the same bait, the only fish i caught that day.
First take was on first turn in the O and the second, was just as the bait hit the water far out. :P |

| got a 36 twice in one week on the Chippewa flowage. Partner got it one night on a ghost tail. About a week later 1/2 mile south I got the same fish after dark on a hawg wobbler. Kinda felt bad for him. |

| Last year got a 42.75" which was tagged, this year caught same fish with same tag in it, and it was 43.5"....both years it was netted in a fyke (sp?) net in the spring by the DNR and I caught it 8 mi north of that area, in nearly the same spot both years in jun/july....pretty cool. I also caught a 42.5" last season once in sept and once in oct. about 1/4 mi or less from where I first caught it. |

Location: indiana | A friend caught a 49.25 incher in 2014. I caught it this year at 50.25 on the same bait about 100 yards from last year. Just about the same week in July of both years.

Location: Already Gone | A few years back near Kenora, we left camp to fish a small bay at sunset in two boats. Working the shoreline, my partner hooked a decent Pike on a Husky Jerk. It circled the boat, and the line got cut on the trolling motor. The boat behind us was working along the same shoreline so my partner yelled to them, joking to look for the Pike that has his Husky Jerk in his mouth.
About 10 minutes later, along the same spot, they hoisted the Pike for a picture with the Husky Jerk hanging from the other side of his mouth. They got him on a Sand Cat.
Back at the cabin, they handed us back the Husky Jerk, laughing. |

I wish it was bigger, but it was only 34 inches. Hopefully it grows up and we get it again when it's over 45 inches. Then it would be replica time for sure!  |
